Worked as part of a team on an in-house charting product for the financial software consultancy based company. Regular design meetings, best practice discussions and code reviews took place within the team to ensure high quality code production. I also aided in product marketing both internally and externally.

Carry Lite - Web Maintenance and XHTML Strict Redesign

Carry Lite required a website redesign to allow for easier maintainability whilst sticking to the original design. Moving the website from a deprecated table design brought the website up to date. A 24-page maintenance document was also created detailing the key processes in page modification, creation and deletion.

Money Dashboard Limited - C#.Net Software Development Contracting

Completed an on-site contract development for a Microsoft Partner "start-up" company looking to release a personal finance application to the market. I regularly participated in key design and concept decisions with the lead developer and chief operating officer.

SHELL Step Placement: Lynchpin Analytics - Rich Media Tracking Research and Development

Researched and created a cutting edge software framework for tracking effectiveness of rich media marketing campaigns. A report and presentation was required based on the placement, which I ensured remained high-level and jargon free. The placement won the Lothians, Borders and Fife final in the search for the UK-s most enterprising student.

Northumbria Numbers - Remote Freelance Database and Website Development

September 2005-Present

Worked remotely with a colleague, requiring regular contact with the customer to elicit requirements and demonstrate prototypes. There have been key advancements through a public facing website and database containing 33 million records, desktop applications for internal processing, search engine optimisation, visitor behaviour analytic and an internal sales order processing system.
