Photo of Drew Forster Pure Software Solutions was founded in May, 2009 by Drew Forster.

The company was founded as a means for myself to contract within the industry, relieving some of the effort on the employer's side and allowing me to be work alongside outstanding people within outstanding companies.

Maintaining high grades throughout my University education and having the drive to be involved within the industry at every available opportunity have allowed me to enhance my software developing skills as well as the personal skills required within the constantly evolving world of software.

I thoroughly enjoy proposing, designing, developing and evaluating software solutions to problems within growing organisations.

31/08/2011 - Just helped launch a new site for cherished number plates.
14/02/2011 - Been a busy few weeks, into round 2 of the Microsoft Imagine Cup, working with a Kinect at University and the 2011 University karting season has just begun! Also got a blog set up: Edinburgh Software.
10/01/2011 - Completed software engineering internship, working through paperwork for Windows Phone 7 apps and back at University for my last ever semester!
01/11/2010 - Been very busy with work at Scott Logic Ltd as well as attending a few Microsoft presentations, networking events and creating a C# Windows Phone 7 app.
30/04/2010 - Signed a contract to work for Scott Logic Ltd. for a 6 month period as part of my MEng degree. Looking forward to the challenges and learning experiences!
11/03/2010 - Joint 3rd in the Realtime Worlds programming competition. Full report available here.
24/02/2010 - A team from Heriot-Watt, led by myself, has made it into the finals for the Realtime Worlds competition.
